Biography

2022 – Senior Season: Played in 55 games, making 54 starts primarily as the team’s designated hitter… Led Butler in home runs (10), RBI (38), slugging percentage (.475), walks (27), and on-base percentage (.379)… Ranked second on the team with 96 total bases and a .277 batting average… Collected 56 hits in 202 at-bats… Scored 33 runs… Added 10 doubles… Stole five bases in seven attempts… Ranked third on the team with 13 multi-hit games… Supplied BU with multiple RBI’s in eight games… Reached base safely in 15-straight games… Went 4-for-5 at Northern Kentucky with two home runs and a season-high five RBI (3/1)… Hit a home run in four-straight games from March 22-27… Opened the season on a five-game hitting streak… Went 3-for-5 with a double and three RBI vs. Prairie View A&M (2/26)… Finished the Jacksonville series with a double and three RBI (3/6)… Hit two doubles in a 3-for-3 game vs. Western Illinois (3/13)… Hit a solo home run at #1 Tennessee (3/22)… Hit a home run in each game vs. Northwestern (3/26-27)… Got a start in the outfield at Southern Illinois and answered with a home run (3/26)… Hit his seventh home run of the year at home vs. Eastern Illinois (4/2)… Hit two doubles at Notre Dame (4/5)… Went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base at Villanova (4/10)… Walked three times in the series opener at St. John’s (4/22)… Hit a double to open the series against UConn and Xavier… Hit a go-ahead grand slam at Purdue in the third inning (5/10)… Opened the Seton Hall series with a game-tying home run in the seventh helping Butler come back and win the game in extra innings (5/19).

2021 – Junior Season: Played 32 games, making 30 starts… Recorded 27 hits over 103 at-bats to post a .262 batting average… Scored 22 runs… Ranked second on the team with 24 RBIs… Ended the year with 48 total bases… Four doubles, one triple and five home runs moved his slugging percentage to .466… Walked 17 times and was hit by a pitch seven times to raise his on-base percentage to .395… Had five stole a base… Held a .974 fielding percentage behind the plate… Had six multi-hit games… Went on one of the longest hitting streaks of the season of any Bulldog to cover six games… Ranked third on the team with four multi-RBI games… Hit a triple in his Bulldog debut, going 2-for-3 vs. DePauw with three runs scored and an RBI (3/9)… Went 1-for-2 at Evansville with two walks, a stolen base, an RBI and two runs scored (3/20)… Got the start at catcher vs. Kentucky and collected two hits, one walk, one RBI and one run scored (3/23)… Hit a home run vs. Valpo to end the game with three RBI (3/26)… Hit a solo home run in the next game vs. Valpo (3/27)… Ended the Valpo series with another homer that was part of a four RBI performance (3/27)… Went 3-for-4 with a double, RBI and two runs scored at Ball State (4/3)… Opened the Seton Hall series with two hits, a double, an RBI and a run scored (4/9)… Ended the Pirate series with an RBI double (4/10)… Hit a home run and a double in the first game vs. Villanova to post two RBI and a run scored (4/23)… Ended the Nova series with two RBI (4/25)… Final home run was a solo shot vs. St. John’s (5/15)… Scored three runs in the regular season finale at Georgetown (5/21).

Sophomore (2020 at Pasco-Hernando State Junior College): Played in 23 games... Held a .198 batting average... Recorded 16 hits, including two doubles, two triples and a homer... Scored 11 runs and was responsible for nine RBI...  Walked 12 times to raise his on-base percentage to .337... Five extra base hits also pushed his slugging percentage to .309.

Freshman (2019 at Stetson): Saw action in 10 games as a pinch-hitter and backup catcher ... Had three hits in six at bats ... Picked up his only RBI with a bases loaded walk against UCF (4/2).

High School: Was a three-year letter winner for coach Ryan Smith at The Benjamin School ... Posted a .382 average with 23 runs and 30 RBI in 30 games during his senior year ... Was a two-time first team All-County pick ... Was also named to the 4A-6 All-District team twice and was named to the All-Sun-Sentinel team twice ... Hit .405 as a junior with 12 extra-base hits and 25 RBI ... Hit .257 as a sophomore with 13 RBI ... Finished his prep career with a .347/.468/.464 slash line with 14 doubles, four triples, two home runs and 64 RBI in 239 at bats ... Helped his team to three consecutive district championships ... Team won regional title his senior year ... Team posted a three-year record of 64-23 ... Was an honor roll and Dean's List student.
