Mikayla Reed serves as an assistant coach with Butler’s cross country and track and field programs. She joined the Bulldog program in August of 2024.
Reed arrives in Indianapolis after finishing her career as a cross country and track & field student-athlete at the University of Missouri. She ran for Mizzou from 2018-24. Despite struggling with exertional compart syndrome for multiple years, she was an NCAA Regional Qualifier in the 10,000 meters.
Reed previously worked as an event coordinator for the Show-Me State Games and contributed to the operations of more than 40 sports scheduled over two weekends, including cross country and track & field.
While at Mizzou, she earned her bachelor's degree in Special Education, a master’s degree in Positive Coaching & Athletic Leadership, and a master’s certificate in Positive Psychology.
