PRIOR TO BUTLER: Ran all four years of high school...finished fifth in Class 2A State Cross Country championships...named program's Athlete of the Year...team finished third in the Class 2A state cross country championships, the program's highest finish in history...top high school performances include 9:12.57 (3200), 4:19.69 (1600), and 14:47 (cross country)...the 3200 and 1600 marks are school records...ran for coach John Szabo...also wrestled in high school...IHSA All-State Academic Team nominee...four-time IHSA Scholar-Athlete.
PERSONAL: Son of Christa and Bill...has two siblings, Sam and Jack.
