2024-25 Track
Placed fifth in the mile at 4:12.54 during the Blue & Gold Invitational (12/6)...posted a season-best in the 3,000 meters at 8:37.15 during the Blizzard Buster (3/22)...crossed the line in 4:00.28 for the 1,500 meters at the Clark Wood Open (4/27).

2024 Cross Country
Recorded a season best in the 8K at 23:58.9 in the Sean Earl Lakefront Invite (10/4)...Placed 20th at the BIG EAST Championships in 24:50.2...finished in 61st at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional in the 10K at 30:41.9...raced in the NCAA Cross Country Championships taking a time of 30:45.8.

2023-24 Track
Redshirted season.

2023 Cross Country: Placed eighth in the 8k at the IUPUI Jaguart Invitational (25:14.1).

PRIOR TO BUTLER: Four-year letterwinner at Plymouth High School who helped his team to four appearances at the Michigan state meet...two-time MHSAA Cross Country All-State...two-time MHSAA 3,200 All-State (including once as the state runner-up)...also earned MHSAA All-State honors as part of the 4x800 relay (a group that also holds the school record)...MHSAA Cross Country regional champion...two-time MHSAA 3,200 regional champion...three-time MHSAA Cross Country Academic All-State...two-time MHSAA Track and Field Academic All-State...Plymouth High School Scholar Athlete of the Year.

PERSONAL: Son of Kathy and Alan Byrnes...has three siblings: Ethan, Patrick and Anna.
