2024-25 SEASON: Posted an 8-6 record at No. 6 singles...went 2-0 at No. 4 singles and also played two matches at the No. 5 position...including fall play, his singles record was 17-14...paired with Nicholas Shirley to post a 9-3 doubles record during the fall portion of the season.
2023-24 SEASON: Spent a majority of the spring season playing at the No. 5 (3-4 record) and No. 6 (4-5 record) singles positions...overall, including fall play, his singles record was 12-13...paired with Nicolas Arts to play one match at No. 2 doubles and three matches at No. 3 doubles during the spring portion of the schedule...overall, had a doubles record of 4-6.
2022-23 SEASON: Went 5-4 in singles play during the spring portion of the schedule, with eight of those nine matches coming at the No. 6 position...went 11-8 overall in singles including fall tournament play...posted a 4-3 mark in doubles play throughout the year.
PRIOR TO BUTLER: Four years in the lineup at West Lafayette High School...Finished senior season with a 29-1 singles record and a singles state championship, which was the first in the school's tennis program's history...First Team All-State from 2019-2021, Second Team All-State in 2018...Academic All-State in 2021..Led team to a 17-3 record (7-0 in conference) his senior year...Led team to conference and sectional championships from 2018-2021

Why William chose Butler: I really loved the balance of athletics and academics, and I love the coach and team already. They were so welcoming when I first came. It is a really great environment, and I am super excited to start this fall.
