2023-24 SEASON: Named All-BIG EAST Second Team for the third consecutive season...played exclusively at the No. 1 singles spot during the spring season, finishing with a 8-15 record on the No. 1 court...in doubles play, paired with Rahul Konakanchi for an 8-1 record at the No. 1 doubles spot...five of their wins were over BIG EAST opponents, including BIG EAST Tournament wins over Creighton and St. John's...selected as the BIG EAST Men's Singles Player of the Week March 18...overall, he had a doubles record of 12-8 for the entire season, pairing with multiple doubles partners.
2022-23 SEASON: Named All-BIG EAST Second Team...led the Bulldogs to a runner-up finish in the 2023 BIG EAST Tournament...posted an 11-7 record at No. 2 singles during the spring portion of the schedule...combined with Tom Brennan to take four BIG EAST Doubles Team of The Week honors (4/17, 4/10, 3/27, 2/27) as the duo went 14-7 at the No. 1 spot during spring play.
2021-22 SEASON: Named All-BIG EAST Second Team...Posted a 16-7 singles record in dual matches, going a perfect 11-0 at the No. 3 spot...Ended season on a 14-match singles winning streak (last loss on 2/20)...Went 8-0 against Big East opponents including winning quarterfinal and semifinal matches against Georgetown and St. John's, respectively...8-8 in doubles play while mostly being paired with Thomas Brennan in the No. 1 spot (7-8)...Finished the fall season 4-3 in singles and 3-6 in doubles
2020-21 SEASON: Went 9-3 in singles, primarily in the No.4 flight...was one of five Butler players with a winning record...picked up 3 wins in doubles, one when paired with Borja Miralles in the No. 1 flight.
2019-20 SEASON: Notched an overall singles record of 13-12 across the fall and spring seasons... went 10-7 in spring singles play... saw the most time at the No. 2 and No. 3 singles spots... won his only singles match at the No. 1 spot against Indiana Tech (Feb. 9)... Posted an 8-4 record in spring doubles... Paired with Zach Trimpe at the No. 3 doubles for a record of 6-2... was one of six Bulldogs with a winning record when the season was suspended on March 13... one of only two Bulldogs with a winning doubles record... had a winning record both at home and on the road.
PRIOR TO BUTLER: During his junior career, Huete has been ranked as high as sixth in the Spanish Junior Rankings and in the top 120 of the Men's National Rankings. He also played at the No. 1 and 2 spots for the Universidad Europea Tennispain team that won the Madrid Team Championships and won the Spanish championship in 2019 after making the semifinals of the Spanish Team Championships in 2018. Huete Vadillo has been ranked as high as 760 in the ITF Junior World Rankings.
