Alex Woldmoe joined the Butler men’s tennis coaching staff prior to the 2017-18 season. He served as the program's volunteer assistant for the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons.
The former Bulldog was a four-year varsity letterwinner from 2013-17.
In his first season on staff, the Bulldogs finished the 2018 season with a 14-7 overall record. Michael Dickson was named BIG EAST Rookie of the Year while Mason Dragos earned First Team All-BIG EAST honors.
Woldmoe helped first-year head coach Daniel Pollock and the 2019 Bulldogs to a program-record 21 wins.
Woldmoe compiled a singles record of 32-28 while playing for the Bulldogs. He was on the 2017 BIG EAST Championship team and played No. 3 doubles in Butler’s first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2007.
Woldmoe graduated from Butler with a degree in business.
