2020-21 (Sophomore Season): Picked up six singles wins in the No. 3 through No. 6 flights

2019-20 (Freshman Season): Went 14-11 on the year as a true freshman... Posted a singles record of 9-7 during the spring before competition was cut short due to Covid-19... Was one of four players to win nine or more singles matches in the spring... His nine wins came across the No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4 spots... Made a run to the singles championship match at the Butler Fall Invitational, finishing that weekend with a 4-1 singles mark.

PRIOR TO BUTLER: Tensing will make the trek across the pond to come to Indianapolis after an impressive junior career. Tensing has never been ranked outside the top-10 nationally and finished as the top-ranked junior player in Sweden multiple times. Tensing also holds multiple junior national championships and currently holds the national junior doubles title.

Tensing on Choosing Butler: "I really enjoyed visiting the campus, the city of Indianapolis, and meeting the coaches to understand their vision for the team.  It was great to hear about the positive experience and improvement of the younger players that will be my teammates.  Overall, I think Butler is a great school that will be a great fit for me and I am really excited to join the team and work hard."

Coach Pollock on Tensing: "Filip's reputation proceeds him.  Every person I talked to immediately spoke about his work ethic, his passion for the sport, and how great he is to be around and to coach.  His familiarity with high level competition stands him in good stead as he enters college, and his hunger for further success will be a driving force for the whole team.  We're excited to get going with him in August."
