Freshman Year (2020) - Was a member of the Butler University Club Tennis team. 

PRIOR TO BUTLER: 2019 All-State selection… 2x All-State Honorable Mention… 4x All-Conference and 3x All-District… Posted a 79-13 individual career record at New Palestine, playing at No. 1 and No. 2 singles… Was a four-time Sectional Champion… Helped lead his team to a 71-21 record in his four seasons with a 29-3 slate in conference play… While acting captain, New Palestine collected four sectional championships and a conference championship, as well as two Team Academic All-State accolades… In the classroom, earned two Academic All-State Honorable Mentions and was a four-time Honor Roll member… Also played basketball.
 
PERSONAL: Son of Doug and Sharon True… Has one sister, Megan.

WHY TRUE CHOSE BUTLER: "I have always loved Butler. From attending various sports camps to visiting my sister on campus when she went here it has always felt like a second home. Butler has great academics, facilities, and people which has made it the perfect fit for me."
