Ran a time of 30:33.18 in the 10,000 meters at the WashU Distance Carnival (3/27)...placed 12th in the 3,000 meters at 8:35.66 during the Billy Hayes Invitational (5/9).
PRIOR TO BUTLER: Spent the 2023 cross country season at Tennessee...posted a time of 24:47.5 at the 2023 SEC Champhionships...finished 37th at the Alabama Crimson Classic with a time of 24:45.9...made Tennessee debut at the Furman Cross Country Invitational and placed 16th in 18:41.9...two-time All-State Cross Country honoree in high school...finished sixth in the 5,000 meters at the 2023 New Balance Nationals.
PERSONAL: Son of Jennifer Gomez and Michael Gomez...has one brother, Aidan.
