Butler University Athletics

Anna Weigandt, a former track and field standout at the University of Nebraska, was named an assistant coach at Butler in August of 2014. She works with Butler's athletes in the jump events.

Weigandt graduated from Nebraska in 2014, earning a B.A. degree in Advertising and Public Relations. She had a stellar athletic career as a member of the Nebraska track and field team, which included earning honorable mention All-America recognition in the triple jump in 2012. She was a four-year letterwinner for the Huskers, the 2012 Big Ten triple jump champion and the Nebraska State B record-holder in the triple jump. Weigandt recorded personal bests of 42-9 in the triple jump and 18-7.5 in the long jump.
