PRIOR TO BUTLER: Earned All-State honors...Team MVP and team captain...helped team to both indoor and outdoor conference championships...holds his school record in the 300-meter hurdles (38.66)...also played football for his high school...Academic All-State honoree.

PERSONAL: Son of Nichole and Khamel Mumford...has one sibling, Antonio.
