2024 Outdoor Track
Earned a mark of 6.64 meters in the long jump at the Raleigh Relays…finished fourth in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 40.97 at the Clark Wood Open…recorded a score of 4860 to take seventh in the decathlon at the BIG EAST Outdoor championships.
2023-24 Indoor Track
Won the pole vault with a personal best of 4.80 meters at the Blue & Gold Invitational…etched his name in the history books in the 60-meter hurdles running a time of 8.03 at the Illini Open…secured the win in the heptathlon at the IUPUI Invitational with a score of 5222…posted a score of 5357 in the heptathlon to take second at the BIG EAST Indoor Championships…placed third in the pole vault at 4.35 meters…earned All-BIG EAST Indoor honors in two both events.
2021-22 Season: 2nd place finish in the long jump the the Blue & Gold Invitational (12/3)...3rd place in the high jump at the Gene Edmonds Invitational (1/8)...3rd place in the decathlon at the Big East Outdoor Championships (5/13 and 5/14)
PRIOR TO BUTLER: Was a four-year varsity letter winner at Effingham Saint Anthony… 3x Illinois State qualifier… Placed 7
th at the 2019 Illinois State Championships… Clocked a career best 110m-hurdle time of 15.53 and 300m-hurdle time of 40.86… Was a multi-sport athlete, competing in soccer and basketball… Member of National Honors Society.
PERSONAL: Son of John and Christy Elder… Has two siblings, Avery and Griffen.
