2019 Cross Country: Ran a season-best 8K at the Bulldog Invite, finishing 25th with a time of 26:36.3... Took eighth at the Cardinal Classic with an 8K time of 26.38.9... Made his college cross country debut at the Butler Twilight, taking 29th with a time of 19:52.7.
Attended Penn State during the 2018-19 academic year, but did not compete.Â
PRIOR TO BUTLER: Earned 11 total letters while running both cross country and track and field...Team MVP in both cross country and track as a senior...seven-time all-conference honors...second-team all-state in the DMR...team finished fourth at the PIAA Cross Country State Championships...team finished second in the Pennsylvania indoor state meet in the DMR, setting a school record in the event...member of six conference championships (three in cross country and three in track)...top times include: 4:23 (1600), 9:31 (3200), 8:56 (3k), 15:48 (5k)...ran for coach Brian Sullivan...graduated in the top 10 percent of his class, posting a 3.9 GPA.
PERSONAL: Son of Judy McKenna and Terrence McKenna...has three siblings, Sarah, Erin and Luke.
