2024-25 Track
Posted a season best in the 600 meters at the 1:24.14 at the Illini Open...crossed the line at 23.05 for the 200 meters at the Midwest Classic Invitational...secured second in the 400-meter hurdles with a mark of 57.53 at the Blizzard Buster...finished the 400 meters in 49.08 at the We Fly Challenge.
2023-24 Track
Ran a personal best in the 600 meters at the Illini Open with a mark of 1:28.22…posted a time of 23.50 in the 200 meters at the Butler Invitational…placed sixth in the 400-meter hurdles at 59.12 during the Jim Vargo Invitational…recorded a season best in the 400-meter hurdles with a mark of 57.59 at the Clark Wood Open.
PRIOR TO BUTLER: Four-year letter winner at Thomas Dale High School under the direction of coach Jamarri Price...Team captain and All-State and All-Region honors...Ran for the Vortex Track Club...Also played football, volleyball and golf...Above 4.0 GPA all four years of high school
PERSONAL: Son of Dave and Meredith Steinbraker...has two siblings, Carter and Maggie
Why Steinbraker chose Butler: Aside from Butler giving me the opportunity to continue my athletic career, I chose Butler mainly because of the community. BU is a smaller college that focuses on each individual student. Teachers, counselors, and administrators strive to personally and individually assist students in finding their way.
