Finished 20th in the 5,000 meters at the NCAA Outdoor Championships (6/13)... earned All-American honorable mention...qualified for nationals with a mark of 14:00.14 taking 12th at the NCAA East First Round (5/30)...secured second in the 10,000 meters at 29:03.17...BIG EAST Outdoor Championships (5/17)...ran a time of 13:30.40 in the 5,000 meters at the Raleigh Relays (3/29)...finished second in the 5,000 meters with a time of 14:01.62 at the BIG EAST Indoor Championships (2/28)...won the 3,000 meters in 8:03.52 at the Crossroads of America Invitational (1/24)

2023-24 Track
Won the 3,000 meters in 8:02.62 at the Michigan Invitational…posted a personal best mark of 13:42.27 in the 5,000 meters at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational…took home the BIG EAST Indoor title in the 5,000 meters with a time of 14:02.81…redshirted outdoor season.

2023 Cross Country: Finished 80th in the 10k at the NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships (30:22.6)... Placed ninth and set a career best in the 10k at the NCAA Division I Great Lakes Region Cross Country Championships (29:52.6)... Placed fifth in the 8.53k at the 2023 Big East Cross Country Championships (25:09.9)... Finished 101th in the 8k at the Nuttycombe Invite (24:22.1)... Finished 47th in the 8k at the Virginia Invitational (23:59.1). 

2022 Cross Country: Placed 11th at Big East Championships (10/29)...  Received All-Big East Honors… Set new lifetime best at Joe Piane Invitational (9/30)... Earned new personal record at NCAA Division I Championships (11/19), finished 165th as the third Bulldog to cross the finish line

PRIOR TO BUTLER: Won the mile (indoor) and 1500m (outdoor) races at the Mountain East Conference Championships in 2022...Mountain East Cross Country Freshman of the year in 2021...2018 South African U18 National Champion in the 3000m

PERSONAL: Son of Wayne and Andrea Forrester...has one sibling, Shannon

Why Forrester chose Butler: "Butler has an outstanding team, and I would really like to try and contribute to that legacy. The team also looks fun and whacky. I think it would be a fun group of people to be around while I grow and push myself and while we push each other."
