2022 Cross Country: Set new personal record at the Joe Piane Invitational (9/30)... Earned new lifetime best at the Big East Championships (10/29)… Placed 28th at the NCAA Division I Great Lakes Region Championships (11/11)... Finished 167th at the NCAA Division I Championships (11/19)
2021-22 Track: 4th place finish and career best time in the 3000m at the Meyo Invitational (2/5)...6th place and career best in the 5000m at the Bryan Clay Invitational (4/14)...8th place in the 10,000m at the Big East Outdoor Championships (5/13)
2021 Cross Country: Placed 196th at the NCAA Championships after finishing 43rd at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional...helped Butler to a BIG EAST title with his 17th-place finish at the BIG EAST Championships.
PRIOR TO BUTLER: 2019 Cross Country Regional Champion… 2019 All-State selection.. 2019 Conference runner-up… Named to 2018 All-Conference and All-Region teams… Helped Saline High School to a fourth place finish at the 2019 State Cross Country Championships…Was part of two team conference championships (2016 and 2019)… 2016 Minnesota State Runner-up team… 2016 Regional championship team… Off the track, was a 2x Academic All-State member.
PERSONAL: Son of William and Carolyn Minnette… Has two sisters, Samantha and Lillian.
WHY MINNETTE CHOSE BUTLER: I chose Butler because of what it could offer. Butler not only has great opportunities in studying chemistry, but also to continue my athletic career with a fantastic team.
