2021-22 Season: Won the long jump at the Illini Classic (2/18)...Won the 400m dash at the Miami University Blizzard Buster (3/18)...2nd place finishes in the long jump at the Big East Indoor Championships (2/25) and the Big East Outdoor Championships (5/13)...5th place in the 400m dash at the Big East Outdoor Championships (5/14)...Ran the first leg of the winning 4x400m relay unit at the Big East Outdoor Championships (5/14) that set a new Butler record with a time of 3:09.48
2020-21 Season: 2nd place finishes in the 4x400m relay at the Big East Outdoor Championships (5/15) and Illinois State Invitational (5/1)...2nd place in the javelin throw at the Illinois State Redbird Invitational (4/2)...6th in the long jump at the Big East Outdoor Championships (5/14)
PRIOR TO BUTLER: 2019 Indiana State Track and Field Championships Qualifier… 2019 First Team All-Conference… Named 2019 Muncie State Press Delaware County Track Athlete of the Year… Holds school records in both the long jump (22’7”) and the 800-meter (1:58.02)… Named team mid-distance runner of the year and field athlete of the year as a sophomore and junior… Helped lead Delta High to three county championships and one sectional title… Also played soccer and football… Named Salutatorian of his graduating class… Was a Lilly Endowment Community Scholar.
PERSONAL: Son of Jeff and Vicki Stanley… Has one sibling, Brayden.
