Falecia Porter joined the Butler women's basketball coaching staff in May of 2025 as the program's General Manager/Director of Player Development. Porter arrived on campus after working for the Connecticut Sun and as the CEO and co-owner of Progression Training LLC.
Porter was the Director of Team Development and Organizational Growth for the Connecticut Sun in 2024, a position she advanced to after previously serving as the team's Manager of Youth Development.
Porter joined the Sun in 2022, two years after creating the Progression Training company with her husband, Keith Porter. Together, the couple opened a 3000-square foot facility to train players of all ages and skill levels to focus on development.
A former student-athlete, Porter graduated with a degree in Business Administration and Sociology at Southern Connecticut State University in May of 2018 and then quickly transitioned into coaching. She spent six seasons at Stonington High School before taking the head coach job at Fitch High School. Porter also accepted a role with Kosovo Heritage in 2023 to work as their Director of Operations.
