Addie Wadley

Addie Wadley joined the Butler women’s lacrosse program in September of 2021. Wadley comes to Butler after serving as the Head Coach at Taylor University from 2018-2020. Wadley was in her first season before Taylor dropped their women’s lacrosse program due the national COVID-19 Pandemic during the 2020 Season. The 2020 season was Taylor’s first season as a varsity program.

Prior to building Taylor’s program, Wadley was the head coach at Lee University, a NCAA Division II member,  from 2016-2018. Wadley was responsible for the creation of the Women’s Lacrosse Program at Lee University and took it from an 0-17 record in the inaugural 2017 season into a 9-9 program just a season later. Wadley’s team finished third in scoring in the competitive Gulf South Conference in 2018 with her team scoring 253 goals in 2018 after scoring just 55 in the school’s first season.  

Prior to Lee University, Wadley served as the head coach of the club team at the University of Oregon in 2016. Wadley also served as a coach for the Indy United Lacrosse club in Indianapolis.

Wadley played lacrosse at Biola University, an NAIA program. Wadley graduated from Biola in 2015 with a degree in human biology and a minor in biblical studies. During her four seasons on the team at Biola, Wadley scored 91 goals for the Eagles and assisted on 28.
