Mackenzie Jordan

Mackenzie Jordan joined the Butler women's lacrosse coaching staff on Aug. 1, 2016. The Rochester, New York native moved to Indianapolis in the fall of 2015 to accept her first collegiate assistant coaching job at the University of Indianapolis.
 
The former Mercyhurst University student-athlete finished her last two seasons under the guidance of Pilson who was at the helm of the Lakers program for 11 seasons before accepting the head position at Butler in January. As a student-athlete, Jordan was a team captain at Mercyhurst during her senior year and garnered All-PSAC and IWLCA All-South Second Team recognition. She was also awarded the Mercyhurst Player's Choice Award in both 2014 and 2015.
 
The Player's Choice Award is voted on by the team for the student-athlete who embodies the team values and represents the Mercyhurst lacrosse program the best both on and off the field. In two seasons at Mercyhurst, Jordan started all 38 games, tallying 84 career goals and 19 assists from her midfield position, earning the team's Midfield MVP Award in 2015.  Jordan graduated from Mercyhurst in May of 2015 as a Dean's List Scholar with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science.  Prior to Mercyhurst, Jordan was a starter at Saint Bonaventure University (NCAA Divison I).
 
Jordan served as an assistant coach for the Lady Roc Lacrosse Club team for four summers working with girls in grades 6, 11 and 12 while in college. She also spent time in Ann Arbor, Michigan helping out at the University of Michigan lacrosse camp. After graduation, Jordan most recently joined the Indy United Lacrosse Club as a coach. She spent her first summer working with the 2018 team.
