McKenna Rushford


McKenna Rushford joined head coach Maggie Zentgraf's first Butler staff as an assistant coach in October of 2022. 

Rushford brings high-level playing experience from her time at both Jacksonville University and Cincinnati. She finished her playing career at Jacksonville, where she was named Team MVP in 2019 and earned ASUN all-conference honors twice.
 
While at Cincinnati, she helped the Bearcats to their winningest season in school history and was named BIG EAST Midfielder of the Week twice.
 
Her previous coaching experience includes time as an assistant with Empress Lacrosse, a club team featuring elite high school players in her hometown of Buffalo, N.Y. More recently, Rushford worked as a coach and recruiting assistant for her alma mater, Jacksonville, during their prospect camps.
