Paige Beierschmitt

Paige Beierschmitt joined the Butler women's lacrosse program as an assistant coach in June of 2016. She was the first staff hire by Butler head coach Cecil Pilson and is the first assistant coach in program history, as the Bulldogs will begin competition in the 2016-17 academic year.
 
She will be involved in all aspects of the Butler program, including on-field coaching, scouting opponents, recruiting, and administrative duties.
 
Beierschmitt recently completed her second season as a member of the coaching staff at Misericordia University in Dallas, Penn. She has also been the head coach for the South Jersey Devils Lacrosse Club in New Jersey since 2015, and spent two years as their assistant coach.
 
As the graduate assistant at Misericordia, Beierschmitt served as the recruiting coordinator and worked on fundraising, alumni relations, social media and additional administrative duties. She helped Misericordia to the program's first two MAC Freedom Conference Playoff appearances in school history.
 
The New Jersey native was a four-year starter for the women's lacrosse team at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and served as a team captain for two years. Twice she was named to the All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference First Team. As a defender, Beierschmitt tallied 135 ground balls and caused 63 turnovers. She was awarded the Women's Lacrosse Club of South Jersey Outstanding College Career Award for Division II in 2014.
 
She graduated from IUP in 2014 with a degree in Physical Education and Sport Administration. She received her Master's degree in Organizational Management from Misericordia University in 2016.
