Butler University Athletics

2020 - Freshman Season: Appeared in two games for the Bulldogs before the season was shortened by Covid-19 on March 14. 

PRIOR TO BUTLER: Earned All-Conference accolades following her senior season... Was also named a 2019 U.S. Lacrosse Academic All-American... First-team All-League and All-Conference as a sophomore and junior... Second-team All-State in the same years... Varsity MVP as a sophomore... Player of the Game multiple times throughout career... Two-time Colorado State Semi-Finalist... Received eight varsity letters, four with lacrosse and four with equestrian at East High... Semper Fidelis All-American... Native American Academic Honors... Has a Seal of Biliteracy... Member of National Honor Society... Varsity Academic Honors... Graduated top 1% in class of 2019. 

PERSONAL: Daughter of Kevin McCabe and Elizabeth Temple... Has two siblings, Zach and Madison. 

WHY MCCABE CHOSE BUTLER: "Butler is the dream school.  It is located close to an amazing city, but it still has the small campus feel.  The academics are great, with many majors to choose from.  In addition, Butler has an incredible alumni base that rave about the school.  Sports-wise, the Butler women's lacrosse team has an incredible coaching staff who are going to help develop this newer program into a DI power house. The girls on the team are great, as well. Butler was definitely the school for me."
