Biography

2024-25 Senior Season: Averaged 3.3 points, 2.0 assists and 1.0 rebounds per game… Saw playing time in 33 of Butler’s 34 games, making three starts… Logged 566 minutes of playing time averaging 17 minutes per game… Shot 40 percent from the field (36-90) and 38 percent from 3-point range (17-44)… 58 percent free throw shooter (20-34)… Grabbed 32 rebounds; five offensive and 27 defensive… Ended the year with 109 points, 67 assists, 26 steals and five blocks… Scored a season-high 10 points vs. Santa Clara (11/29)… Ended that game going 2-for-2 from 3-point range while adding three steals… Opened the season with eight points, three steals, three assists and a block vs. Chicago State (11/6)… Scored nine points in her first start of the season at home vs. Xavier (2/19)… Filled up the box score with four assists, two steals, and two rebounds in 28 minutes… Logged 30 minutes of playing time vs. Wisconsin and at Purdue Fort Wayne… Had four assists, a season-high three rebounds and two points in a WNIT win over UIC (3/23)… Impacted the Saint Francis win with six assists, three steals and five points (12/15)… Scored eight points on 3-of-4 shooting at Vanderbilt while adding four assists (11/17)… Went 3-for-4 from the line vs. Texas to post seven points (11/30)… Scored five points in four-straight games from Dec. 5-15.

2023-24 Junior Season: Played in 32 games, making 20 starts… Averaged 4.5 points, 2.3 assists, 2.0 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game… Averaged 18.9 minutes of playing time per game… Shot 42.6 percent from the field (60-141)… and 26 percent from 3-point range (10-38)… 59 percent free throw shooter (13-22)… Logged 606 minutes of total playing time… Ended the year with 143 points, 63 rebounds, 75 assists, 45 steals and two blocked shots… Scored a career-high 15 points vs. Detroit Mercy on 7-of-11 shooting (11/12)… Led Butler in scoring with 11 points at Pacific (11/24)… Didn’t miss a shot vs. Xavier (4-4) to post 11 points and six assists vs. the Musketeers (2/21)… Went 3-for-3 from 3-point range vs. Xavier… Had six assists and five rebounds vs. Chicago State (12/10)… Credited with a career-high five steals vs. Bradley (11/29)… Scored 10 points at DePaul (2/28)… Came up with seven points, five assists, two rebounds and a steal vs. Ohio (12/21)… Recorded five assists and didn’t commit a turnover in 12 minutes of action vs. Bowling Green in the WNIT (3/21).

2022-23 Sophomore Season (Michigan): Earned second varsity letter... Academic All-Big Ten... Appeared in 21 games off the bench, averaging 1.1 points and 1.1 rebounds in 8.8 minutes per game... Matched a career-high again with four points off the bench against Rutgers (Feb. 23)... Equaled career-high with four points in a career-high 21 minutes at Michigan State (Feb. 5)... Scored a career-high four points on 2-for-2 shooting against Illinois (Feb. 2)... Played 13 minutes against Michigan State (Jan. 14), finishing with two points, four rebounds, an assist and a steal... Played seven minutes at Purdue, finishing with two boards and an assist.

2021-22 Freshman Season (Michigan): Earned first varsity letter... Appeared in 16 games off the bench, averaging 0.6 points and 0.8 rebounds in 7.2 minutes per game... Turned in two points and two rebounds against St. Francis Brooklyn (Nov. 13)... Made her Michigan debut with two points and a steal against IUPUI (Nov. 9).

High School: Runner-up for 2021 Indiana Miss Basketball... Member of the Indiana All-Star team... Three-time Top 15 Supreme Team... Four-time All-State, All-City and All-Conference selection... Two-time Indiana Gatorade Player of the Year nominee (2018-19, 2020-21)... Three-time team MVP... Indiana Junior All-Star core 6 selection... Finished her high school career with 1,689 points, 362 rebounds, 247 assists and 274 steals... Her 1,689 points rank third in school history... Averaged 27.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 3.4 steals per game as a senior... Ranked No. 25 by Prospects Nation, No. 35 by the All-Star Girls Report, No. 38 by Blue Star and No. 68 by ESPN... McDonald's All-America Game nominee... Played AAU for the Indy Gym Rats.

"We are thrilled to welcome Ari back home to Indy," Parkinson said. "Ari is a veteran point guard who is extremely fast with the ball in her hands and can really push the ball in transition. Bulldog fans will love watching her heat up the basketball defensively and score in a variety of ways on the offensive end the next two years."
