Biography
AS A SENIOR (2007-08): Named to the Winter Academic All-HorizonLeague Team...the Bulldogs' top middle and long distanceswimmer...swam to the third-fastest 1,000 freestyle time in schoolhistory with a 11:03.95 and the seventh-fastest 1,650 freestyletime with an 18:58.37...also paced the team with season-best marksin the 100 free (56.22), 200 free (2:01.74) and 500 free(5:24.04)...her 1:07.19 in the 100 butterfly was also the team'sfastest time during the year...added a 2:50.07 in the 200breaststroke and a 2:26.01 in the 200 individual medley...swam thelead leg of the 800 freestyle relay team that posted thefifth-fastest time in school history...also a member of the 200 and400 freestyle and the 200 medley relay teams that swam toseason-best times. AS A JUNIOR (2006-07): Posted top marks in themiddle distance freestyle events, scoring fast times in the 200freestyle (2:01.09) and the 500 free (5:28.38)...was a member ofthe 200 and 800 freestyle and 200 medley relay teams that postedtop-five all-time showings...finished fourth on the team in the 50free (26.83) and the 100 free (57.15)...notched 1:10.00 in the 100backstroke. AS A SOPHOMORE (2005-06): Had season best times in the100 free (56.98), 200 free (2:03.77) and 500 free (5:29.84) at theHorizon League Championships.
AS A FRESHMAN (2004-05): Finished 15th in the 1000-yd. freestyleand 16th in the 400-yd. individual medley at the 2005 HorizonLeague Championships. AT FRANKLIN COMMUNITY HIGH: Four-yearletterwinner...two-time MVP...High Point Award winner...AcademicAll-American and All-State...conference champion in threeevents...two-time state qualifier...also played tennis...holds theschool record in the 500-yard freestyle...classvaledictorian...high school coach: Kurt Hass.
