2021-22 Senior Season: Named to the AD Honor Roll in seven consecutive semesters... Named to the Deans List three times during her academic career... Four-time BIG EAST Qualifier and Finalist... Co-Captain... Placed 19th in the 1650 Free, 30th in the 500 Free and 41st in the 50 Free at the BIG EAST Championship meet... Ranked fourth in the 1650 Free and fifth in the 1000 Free on the BU All-Time Top 10 List.

2020-21 Junior Season: Named to AD Honor Roll (Fall 2020)... Three-time BIG EAST Qualifier... Placed 34th in the 50 Free at Big East... Placed 28th in the 200 Free at Big East... Placed 24th in the 100 Free at Big East... Ranks fourth all-time in teh 1650 Free... Ranks fifth in the 1000 Free.

2019-20 Sophomore Season: Part of the 800 Free Relay Team that set a new BU school record (7:42.38)… Posted the third-best time in school history in the 1650 Free (17:53.88)…  Posted the fourth-best time in school history in the 1000 Free (10:45.49)… Placed third in the 500 Free at Bellarmine (5:24.46).

2018-19 Freshman Season: Placed 17th at the BIG EAST Championship Meet in the 1650 Free (18:00.19)… Finished the 500 Free at 5:17.62… Finished the 200 Free at 2:02.25… Posted a time of 10:56.58 in the 1000 Free.

High School: Four-year varsity swimmer at Niles North under the direction of TJ Moran... Four-time All-Conference selection... Two-time Team MVP... Team Captain as a senior... Scholar athlete.

Personal: Daughter of Phil Klafta and Karen Johnson... Has a brother named Philip.

Why Klafta Chose Butler: I was drawn to Butler because of the great campus and the size. Once I learned more, I knew it would be a perfect place for me to perform at my best both academically and in athletics.
