Utilized a fifth season of eligibility available via the NCAA waiver due to the 2020 season being canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Enrolled at Butler as a graduate student for the 2020-21 academic year. 

2020-21 (Graduate Student Season): Produced 3 wins in the No. 2 flight...won 8 matches in the No. 3 doubles slot, mostly paired with Veronika Bruetting.

2019-20 (Senior Season): Finished the year with a 7-14 record, including a 2-9 spring singles record before the season was suspended due to Covid-19... Appeared in a total of 13 doubles matches for the Bulldogs, all of which at the No. 1 spot, going 1-8... Teamed up with Sarah Monesmith for her only doubles win.  

2018-19 (Junior Season): As a junior, Padgett played in 17 singles matches…posted four wins including a 3-3 record at the No. 2 position…named BIG EAST Tennis Player of the Week on February 19…posted a straight-sets victory against Southern Indiana…posted singles victories against Indiana Wesleyan, Hanover and DePauw…went 4-3 at the No. 2 doubles position with Sarah Monesmith…posted an overall doubles record of 7-11...ITA Scholar-Athlete.

2017-18 (Sophomore Season): Only saw action in one match this season, teaming up with Jordan Minnick to defeat the pair from Indiana Wesleyan at No. 2  doubles.

2016-17 (Freshman Season): Only saw action in one match after transferring to Butler prior to the spring semester...lost her only match at No. 5 singles.

Lauryn Padgett joined the Butler roster for the second semester of the 2016-17 season.
 
PRIOR TO BUTLER:The Carmel, Ind., native transferred from Dayton University and was a high school State Doubles Champion in 2015 and 2016. She was named First-Team All-State in 2014, 2015 and 2016. As a senior at Carmel High School, Padgett received the Girls' Tennis Mental Attitude Award Winner. The Indiana High School Athletic Association awards the annual honor to an outstanding senior in the girls' tennis state finals tournament.
 
PERSONAL: Padgett joins her sister, Bailey Padgett, on the tennis team at Butler.
