2023-24 (Senior Season): Went 1-0 in doubles and 1-0 in singles during the fall portion of the schedule before graduating in December.
2022-23 (Junior Season): Paired with teammate Delaney Schurhamer for a majority of the doubles season, playing at the No. 2 spot...the duo combined for a 4-11 record in the spring after going 2-0 in the fall...went 1-2 in singles play at the No. 6 position during the spring season.
2021-22 (Sophomore Season): Posted a 3-4 record at singles and 6-9 record at doubles in dual matches...Spent most of the season at No. 6 singles, winning her lone match at the No. 5 spot of the lineup (IUPUI on 3/30)...Went 5-4 at No. 2 doubles when paired with Norah Balthazor...1-5 in singles and 1-6 in doubles combined during the fall and season opening Wildcat Invite
2020-21 (Freshman Season): Won one singles match in the No. 5 position...paired with Lauryn Padgett to post a 7-7 doubles record, primarily in the No. 3 flight.
PRIOR TO BUTLER: A four year varsity starter... Colorado All-State and All-Conference selection... Was the first All-State tennis player for ThunderRidge High School... Held a 32-9 individual record across the last three seasons as of 2019... In singles, she has two state finishes... Placed fourth in 2017 as a freshman and third in 2018 as a sophomore... Helped lead her team to a runner-up regional finish... Off the court, Bruetting is an honor roll student and was a member of the cross country team.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Dan and Simona Bruetting...Simona previously served as an assistant coach at the University of Denver...has a younger brother, Thomas.
