Kameron Jones has joined the Butler Track and Field program as an assistant coach for the 2023-24 season.
Jones began his track and field career at the University of Maryland, receiving his degree in government and politics. While at Maryland, he set the 300m and 600m indoor school records. He was also a Big Ten finalist in the 400m with a time of 46.17.
He then received his master’s in athletic leadership from Clemson University. Jones was an All-American and ACC Champion while at Clemson where he set the school record and ACC Championship record in the 800m with a time of 1:45.57.
Jones is currently in the postgraduate program at the NCAA.
