Andrew Stutz joined the Butler men’s tennis program as an assistant coach in August 2021.

An Indianapolis native, Stutz was a member of the Ball State men’s tennis team from 2013 to 2017. In 2014, Stutz helped Ball State win the Mid-American Conference Tournament Championship and earn a berth in the NCAA tournament.
 
 

In 2016, Stutz earned All-MAC honors and was a doubles finalist at the ITA Ohio Valley Regionals. The following year, Stutz was named the 2017 MAC Men’s Tennis Jack Vredevelt Sportsmanship Award winner.

Prior to his collegiate career, Stutz was a two-time IHSAA Team State Runner Up and three-time All-State honoree. Stutz signed with Ball State as a four-star recruit on tennisrecruiting.net.

Stutz graduated summa cum laude from Ball State with a degree in political science. In May 2020, Stutz earned his juris doctorate from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
