Darius Alleyne started with Butler Athletics as the Director of Athletic Facilities in March of 2025.
Alleyne arrived at Butler after serving as the Director of Facilities at the University of Nevada, Reno since 2023. He served as the primary game manager for Men's Basketball, as well as Men's and Women's Tennis. Additionally, he served as an event manager for internal and external events, ensuring efficient coordination and successful execution of all activities. His responsibilities also included management of scheduling, payroll, and overall facility management for the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.
Prior to Nevada, Alleyne served as the Parks, Recreation and Open Space Stewardship Manager for the Miami Dade County PROS Department and as the Athletic Facility Manager (and previously the Facility and Events Assistant) for Florida International University (FIU) Athletics in Miami.
Alleyne holds a bachelor's degree from FIU in recreational and sports administration. He also has earned an MBA in data analytics and an additional master's degree in hospitality.
