Kiera Miller assumed the role of Associate Director of the Bulldog Club in December of 2023. In this role, Miller oversees Bulldog Club operations with a goal of increasing annual fundraising while creating an exceptional donor experience for alumni, parents and friends of Butler Athletics.
Miller first joined Butler as a member of the football staff, arriving at Butler with head coach Mike Uremovich as the Director of Football Initiatives in February of 2022. Her work included operations for the program and serving as the liaison to a number of campus and external entities.
Her previous experience in development came in 2017 when Miller served as the associate director of development at the United States Air Force Academy working as the Falcon Athletic Fund liaison for women’s basketball, men’s and women’s gymnastics, lacrosse, men’s and women’s tennis, women’s volleyball and excellence in athletics fund. Additionally, Miller served as the primary contact for “A Night of Excellence” and all other AFAAC fundraising and alumni events.
In March of 2019, Miller served the student-athletes of Temple Football as the director of player development working alongside Uremovich. Miller spearheaded football specific programming ranging from financial awareness, healthy relationships to NIL education. Furthermore, Miller was heavily involved in alumni and booster outreach and stewardship.
Before her stint at Air Force, Miller spent five years working with then offensive coordinator Coach Uremovich and the rest of the athletics staff at NIU. Miller started as a compliance and life skills coordinator in March 2012 before being promoted to assistant athletic director for compliance and student services. She remained an assistant athletic director until her departure in 2017.
Miller is a native of Chicago, Illinois, and earned her bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University, and a master’s degree in communication theory from Northern Illinois University.
