Lee Dicklitch was promoted to his current role of Associate Athletic Director for Internal Operations in August of 2022. 

In this role, Dicklitch oversees day-to-day functions of the department's internal operations, which includes the operating budget of the athletic department, the business office, facilities and events, and the equipment room. He also serves on the department's senior staff and provides sport administration supervision to Butler's football and baseball programs. 

At Butler, Dicklitch previously served as the Assistant Athletic Director for Events and Facilities, managing the oversight of all Butler athletic facilities and events for the department to provide and promote a positive fan experience. He first joined the Butler University Athletics staff in February of 2017 to serve in an operational support role for numerous teams located in the Athletic Annex.

Dicklitch previously served in a variety of roles within the collegiate and professional sports industry throughout his career. Past experience in collegiate athletics includes six years at the NCAA, where he served as Associate Director of Championships and Alliances – Branding and Fan Experience, as well as a role as part of the Men’s Basketball Championship Staff to support the administrative planning for eight Final Fours. Dicklitch coordinated management support of championship presentation, branding and ancillary event planning for 89 NCAA Championships. In his role with the men’s basketball staff, he oversaw all of areas of the in-venue game presentation, including marketing and sponsor activations for all rounds of the championship. He served as a liaison to NCAA institutions, conferences and local organizing committees for numerous championship events around the country during this time. In addition, he has provided event production support for numerous Rose Bowl Games and served on the initial executive leadership team of the Indy Fuel ECHL minor league hockey franchise.

He began his career in the University of Wisconsin-Madison athletics event management department for six years by providing operational support for the Badger teams and student-athletes. Prior to this, Dicklitch earned a marketing degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse College of Business and was a four-year member of the men’s basketball team. He also holds Masters degrees from both Butler University (MBA – Leadership Concentration) and Ohio University (Masters in Recreation and Sports Sciences).
