Matt Redmond joined the Butler Athletics sports medicine staff in February of 2026. He works primarily with Butler's football program.
Redmond arrived at Butler from Hendricks Regional Health where he served as the head athletic trainer for Danville Community High School. Previously Redmond worked with the University of Louisville's baseball and men's golf programs.
As an athletic training student, Redmond worked with the Indiana University's baseball, football, and track and field programs, and Bloomington South High School.
Redmond earned both a bachelors degree in exercise science and a masters degree in athletic training from Indiana University.
