Nic Martin joined the Butler Athletics staff as a Communications Assistant in August 2026.
In his role, Martin assists the Strategic Communications staff with media relations, game-day communications, and the promotion of Butler Athletics. He will serve as the primary contact for Butler’s volleyball and track & field programs.
Martin arrived at Butler after earning his bachelor's degree in public relations from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. During his time with the Cardinals, he gained experience in collegiate athletics as a Sports Information student intern. He supported the department by writing press releases, producing game notes, compiling statistics, coordinating media coverage, and assisting with digital content.
