Skyler Awisus joined the Butler staff as the Executive Assistant to Athletics Administration in October of 2024.
Awisus provides high-level support to Vice President/Director of Athletics Grant Leiendecker and the department's senior staff, including overseeing projects and a multitude of tasks and responsibilities.
He is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and most recently served as the Deputy Chief of Staff for the United States Space Force/Space Delta 5. His work (in various roles) with the United States Space Force dates back to 2015.
During his undergraduate time with the U.S. Air Force Academy, Awisus was a member of the gymnastics team, specializing in the parallel bars and the high bar.
Skyler and his wife, Jenna, reside in Indianapolis.
