Tyce Ferrell joined the Butler Football coaching staff in 2025 as an offensive analyst. A former student-athlete at Ball State and Indiana State, Ferrell played tight end at BSU in 2024. He caught two passes as a Cardinal while appearing in all 12 contests.

Before arriving in Muncie, Ferrell played in 31 games at Indiana State. He caught 20 passes for 139 yards and scored two touchdowns over three seasons at ISU.

Ferrell was a multi-sport athlete while at Avon High School. He will begin his collegiate coaching career at Butler after being influenced by Mark Bless (Avon), Curt Mallory (ISU), and Mike Neu (BSU).
