Logan connected on 21 of her 31 attempts to post a team-high .613 attack percentage. Her 4.73 kills per set average is on pace to break the school record (4.57 - Kali Carter, 2004).

Takeda with the Ace
The Bulldogs limited their service errors during the final two matches of the Hawkeye Classic to pick up a pair of 3-0 victories against Iowa and WIU. Service aces would tell the story in BU's last game as Butler posted a season-high 11 service aces in the 3-0 sweep at Ball State.
Taylor Takeda finished the match with seven aces, just two shy of tying the school record. The last Bulldog to post seven service aces in a single-match was Lynn Hardin vs. Baylor in a five-set match back during the 1993 season. The school record of nine belongs to Laura Baire who played at Butler from 1992-1995. Baire dominated the match against Wright State during the 1995 campaign to collect her nine aces in a three-set win.
Butler Offense Gaining Momentum
The Bulldogs have posted three-straight 3-0 victories after sweeping Ball State on Wednesday night. The offense hit their groove in Iowa City last weekend to post a .331 team attack percentage in the victory against the Hawkeyes. They followed that effort by posting a season-high .354 attack percentage against the Leathernecks. BU recorded 45 kills on 96 swings and only committed 11 errors.

She came up with a season-high six service aces vs. Oakland pushing her season total to 11.

Ohio Valley Conference

Â
Rollercoaster Seasons
The tournament field for the 2016 Butler Classic have already hit some highs and lows this season in the win-loss column. Tennessee State won four-straight at the start of the season, but have lost three-straight heading into their match with Butler. Murray State also started off strong by winning their first three matches of the year, but after a loss on Tuesday, the Racers have now dropped four-straight. Wright State however heads into the weekend having won two-straight matches after dropping their first five contests of the 2016 season.
