The women's team suffered a 7-0 setback at home against Ball State Wednesday afternoon to drop their record 3-11 on the season.
State secured their first win of the day after No. 2 doubles
Jocelyn Koester and
Jordan Minnick fell 6-1 to Audrey Berger and Julia Sbircea. In singles play,
Rachel Sutton pushed her match to three sets by winning the second set 1-6 against Toni Ormond. Six Cardinals won in straight sets.
The Bulldogs will be in Nashville beginning Friday over a two-day period to face Lipscomb, Western Kentucky and UIC.
