About Butler
The Bulldogs enter the contest looking for their first conference win of the inaugural season. Butler is 1-14 this year and 0-7 in BIG EAST play after hosting No. 3 Florida last weekend.

The nationally-ranked Florida Gators claimed a 22-2 win on Saturday. Freshman Ashley Lizzi scored her eighth goal of the season in the first half to break a 5-0 scoring streak for the visitors in the first half. Florida took a 16-1 lead at the half, but would slow down in the later 30 minutes of action. Zoe Law scored Butler's second goal of the game and her first career goal with just over two minutes to play.

Journey Fischbeck leads the team with 29 points, broken down into 17 goals and a team-high 12 assists on the season. Teammate Haley Hallenbeck trails with 28 points which includes four assists and 24 goals, a total that leads the team.

Butler continues to split time at goalie between Haley Rayburn and Allie Storke. Storke logged all 60 minutes against Florida and made six saves, totaling 63 on the season.  Rayburn has 66 saves.

Scouting Marquette
The Golden Eagles are 4-11 overall and 2-5 against BIG EAST opponents. The team enters the match holding a four-game losing streak. Their last win was a 20-6 rout against Villanova on April 1 for their second conference win. The first came against Cincinnati, 16-10, on March 19.

The Bulldogs will look to defend attacker Juliana Shearer, who leads the conference and team with 47 goals. She averages over three goals a game and broke her own single-season school record after passing 39 goals.

Grace Gabriel presents a second scoring option for the Golden Eagles and has 36 goals this season. Claire Constanza and Amanda Bochiniak both rank in the top ten of the BIG EAST for assists per game, posting 24 and 22 assists, respectively.

Marquette splits goal-keeping duties between Molly Grozier and Jules Horning, with Horning taking over a majority of minutes. Through 11 games played, Horning is second in the conference with over eight saves per match. She totals 90 saves on the season while Grozier holds 45 saves.
