@ButlerWLacrosse to Host #13 Denver at Grand Park


**Due to severe weather entering the Greater Indianapolis Area the game between Butler and Denver has been moved to Grand Park, Field EC2**

INDIANAPOLIS – The Bulldogs will host the #13 Denver Pioneers on Wednesday afternoon in BIG EAST action. The match will be held at Grand Park on Field EC2.

About Butler
The Bulldogs are 1-10 overall with a 0-3 mark in conference action. Butler is coming off a 21-3 loss to Cincinnati, a setback that marked their fifth road loss of the year. The team's top scoring threat is Haley Hallenbeck. The BU midfielder has 22 goals to go along with three assists for a team-high 25 points.
 
Madison Christian and Journey Fischbeck are two other scoring options for the Bulldog attack. Christian has 15 goals and Fischbeck is close behind with 14. Fischbeck leads the team with 10 assists.
 
BU splits goalie duties between Allie Storke and Haley Rayburn. Storke has the better numbers of the two with 52 saves and a 15.01 goals against average. Hallenbeck helps out defensively with 11 caused turnovers. She also leads the team with 20 ground balls.
 
Scouting #13 Denver
The nationally-ranked Pioneers head into Wednesday's contest against Butler with an 8-2 overall record. Each loss came against a ranked opponent with the most recent coming against BIG EAST foe Florida. Denver got back on track recently with a 16-11 win at home against Connecticut.
 
Kendra Lanuza leads the team in points with 19 goals and a team-high 22 assists. Her favorite two targets are Elizabeth Behrins and Julia Feiss. Behrins has 28 goals on the year to go along with five assists. Feiss is second on the team with 26 goals.
 
The Denver goalie is Maddy Stevenson, a 5-6 senior that has 69 saves on the season. Stevenson holds an 8.70 goals against average and has picked up all eight wins for the Pioneers.

The Bulldogs will return to action this weekend with a 1 PM match at UConn on Saturday, April 8.
