Bailey Padgett and Rachel Sutton represented the Bulldogs at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic over the weekend.

Padgett won her opening-round singles match. She topped Wisconsin-Milwaukee's Loren Nelson, 7-5, 6-1, before falling to Arkansas's Leolia Jeanjean in straight sets in the second round.

Sutton dropped her opening-round match to Utah State's Alexandra Pisareva. The senior then followed that up with a narrow defeat at the hands of Wisconsin's Michelle Linden, 4-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-7).

Padgett and Sutton lost their only doubles match to a team from Marquette.

The duo returns to Indianapolis and join their Butler teammates for a Sunday 3 p.m. home match against Marian.
