INDIANAPOLIS – The Bulldogs pulled out a 28-23 win over Stetson in the final home game of the 2018 season. WR

QB
Will Marty accounted for three total touchdowns with each passing TD finding Dennis. The red-shirt senior also added a 14-yard TD rushing touchdown to his stat line. Marty's first TD pass to Dennis covered 68 yards. The duo hooked up again in the third quarter for a 73-yard score.

Brad Sznajder. Sznajder gained 78 yards on the ground while teammate

The 'Dawgs would hold onto a slim one-point lead after the opening 15 minutes. Colin McGovern found TE Donald Parham for the Hatters first points, but the extra point was missed.
Parham had 111 yards and one TD on nine catches against Butler, but he would leave the game in the second half due to injury. Stetson also got 105 yards out of WR Steven Burdette who also ended the game with nine catches.
Stetson's only lead of the game would come at 13-7 in the second quarter after a 13-yard scramble from McGovern. Marty would answer for Butler just four minutes later for his lone rushing TD of the game.
The final touchdown of the first half was the 68-yard score from Marty to Dennis. Stetson wouldn't head to the locker room empty handed as they eventually drove down the field to add a late field goal with just two seconds to play before the half to make the score 21-16.
The only points of the third quarter came on the 73-yard TD pass from Marty to Dennis. Stetson would try to mount a comeback in the fourth with a TD run from Jerome Westcott with 6:45 to play.
Butler would kill some clock on their next possession, but two long passes for McGovern mixed with a BU penalty would give the Hatters one last chance from 31 yards out. McGovern threw a deep ball to the corner of the end zone, but
Luke Sennett and
Devin Aguilar would knock the ball to the turn to seal the win.
The Bulldogs will return to action next Saturday with a road game at Davidson. Kick-off is scheduled for 1 PM.
