Butler travels to Mount Pleasant, Mich. on Wednesday to take on the Central Michigan Chippewas in their third game of the season. The Bulldogs are looking to rebound after a loss to Louisville on Feb. 22.
After their first week of play, sophomore
Christina Soderquist leads Butler with one goal and 11 draw controls. She has also picked up four ground balls.

Adilyn Smith,
Karina Latsko, and
Morgan Paige each add a goal for the Bulldogs.
Jordan Fischbach serves as the team leader in ground balls with five.
Amanda Rumsey and
Haley Rayburn have both seen time in goal for Butler. Rumsey has 11 saves in her 82 minutes of play, posting a save percentage of .306. Rayburn has played 38 minutes for the Bulldogs, making eight saves.
Central Michigan is 1-2 on the season, posting a 12-10 victory at American on Feb. 23 and falling to Marquette 19-7 on Feb. 16 and LaSalle 18-6 on Feb. 25.
Shannon Doyle and Tyra Prince are the leading goal scorers for the Chippewas. Doyle has scored eight goals and picked up eight ground balls in her three games. Prince has tallied eight points with six goals and two assists. She has picked up five ground balls and caused one turnover.
Two goalies have seen time in goal for Central Michigan. Hope Murray has seen the majority of playing time, making 17 saves in 138 minutes. She holds a 13.44 goals-against average and a save percentage of .354. Dominique Hamman has six saves in her 41 minutes of play, with a 23.10 goals-against average and a .273 save percentage.
The match at Central Michigan is slated to begin at 3 p.m. The Bulldogs will round out their week on March 3, hosting Detroit-Mercy at noon.
