The Butler women's team wrapped up their second fall tournament of the season on Sunday, Oct. 13 at Western Michigan. The six-team tournament included three rounds of singles play and doubles match-ups.

Freshman
Logan White headlined the Bulldogs in singles play, going 2-1 over the weekend. On Friday, White defeated Marija Jovicic of DePaul in straight sets (6-1, 6-3).
She followed up that performance on Saturday, taking down Western Michigan's Kaitlyn Rogosch by scores of 7-6 (5), 6-4. White fell short of forcing another match in her only loss on Sunday to DePaul's Aspasia Avgeri (6-4, 7-5).
Hallie Leblebijian also notched a win over the weekend, taking down Anika Tylek of Milwaukee 6-1, 6-3 on Friday.
Kendal Wilby claimed the Bulldogs' final win in singles matches on Sunday, going the distance to defeat Western Michigan's Taylor Smith (6-4, 1-6, 10-6). Wilby and Leblebijian closed out the weekend with 1-2 records.
In doubles play, the pair of White and
Emily Neal, along with the team of
Nina Bertino and
Roxanne Mackenzie, started the first round with 6-3 wins over Milwaukee. Both pairs went 1-2 through three match-ups across the tournament.Â

The Bulldogs will have just a few days to tune-up for the ITA Ohio Valley Regionals six-day tournament spanning from Thursday Oct. 17 – Tuesday Oct. 22. The tournament will be hosted by Middle Tennessee in Murfeesboro, Tenn. Â
