INDIANAPOLIS – Butler will play their third-straight home game at Hinkle on Sunday with a contest against High Point. The 'Dawgs are searching for their seventh win of the season with just two non-conference games left on the schedule.

Scouting High Point
The Panthers are 2-5 overall with victories against East Tennessee State and North Carolina Central. First-year head coach Chelsea Banbury took over a program that went to the WNIT one year ago. The Panthers posted a 22-9 overall record and were 15-3 against Big South opponents. They return two starters from last year's team in seniors Camryn Brown and Olivia VanSlooten. This year's team is led by Brown, Skyler Curran and Miya Bull. Curran is averaging 16.7 points, the second-high average in the conference. She also leads the Big South in made 3-point field goals (23). Teammate Miya Bull is the conference leader in rebounds (9.0).
Butler vs. the Big South
This is just the third meeting between Butler and a member of the Big South Conference. BU is 2-0 all-time vs. Radford with wins over the Highlanders in 1997 and 1999. Sunday is the first-ever meeting between Butler and High Point
Butler Sets New Attendance Record vs. #12 Indiana
2,028 fans traveled to Hinkle Fieldhouse on Wednesday night to watch Butler host #12 Indiana. That attendance number set a new single-game record at BU for the women's program. The old record of 1,971 was set on Feb. 24, in 1996 against Cleveland State.

Spolyar Continues to Score
Kristen Spolyar has scored in double figures in eight of Butler's nine games. She led BU with 15 points against Indiana and committed a season-low one turnover. Spolyar has also recorded at least one steal in every game this season.
RPI Poll
Butler ranks 63rd in the first RPI poll of the season. The BIG EAST Conference has two teams in the top-ten with DePaul resting at seven and Creighton close behind at 9. Butler's best win at this point in the season came against IUPUI (75). They picked up another top-100 win vs. Ohio (99).
Attack the Rim
Butler leads the BIG EAST and ranks eighth in the nation in free throw attempts (226) and free throws made (156). They are shooting 69 percent as a team from the free throw line this season, but are coming off a contest where they knocked down 15 of their 16 attempts. 16 attempts was a season-low total for BU.

Butler is one of three BIG EAST teams limiting their opponent to less than 60 points per game. The 'Dawgs rank second the conference in steals per game (12.0), and turnovers forced (21.2). They also rank third in scoring defense (59.7).
