The Butler women's tennis fell at Indiana Sunday evening, 7-0. This wraps up a 1-1 weekend for the Bulldogs, who beat Milwaukee 6-1 Saturday morning in Indianapolis.

Indiana took the doubles point by defeating Nina Bertino and Sarah Monesmith 6-1 in the No. 1 spot, and Caroline McAuley and Kendal Wilby 6-1 in the No. 2 spot.

Sarah Monesmith competed in the No. 1 spot for the Bulldogs, falling 6-1, 6-0 to #97 Madison Appel. Nina Bertino played in the No. 2 spot for Butler, falling 6-0, 6-2 to Indiana's Natalie Whalen.

Caitlin Bernard clinched the match for Indiana in the No. 3 spot, defeating Lauren Marx 6-4, 6-0. Hallie Leblebijian posted a hard-fought battle in the No. 6 spot, falling 7-6 (7-2), 6-1.

The Bulldogs return to action on Friday, Feb. 8, taking on the University of Indianapolis in the first of three matches in three days for the Bulldogs. Following the road match at UIndy, the Bulldogs host Indiana Wesleyan Saturday (Feb. 9) at 3 p.m. and Denison Sunday (Feb. 10) at 10 a.m.
