The Bulldogs fell to UIndy Friday evening, 6-1. Caroline McAuley notched a win in the No. 6 singles spot, but the Bulldogs were unable to come away with the victory.

Sara Linn and Emily Neal were victorious in the No. 1 doubles spot for Butler, taking down Nikol Alexeeva and Anya Novikova, 6-1. Sarah Monesmith and Lauryn Padgett fell to   Hanna Volikova and Maja Pindelska, 6-3. UIndy defeated Kendal Wilby and McAuley 6-1 to secure the doubles point.

Highlighting singles play for Butler was a win in the No. 6 spot as McAuley took down Pam Brito Torres in straight sets 6-2, 6-2. Emily Neal battled in the No. 1 spot, taking Volikova to a 7-5 first set before falling 6-3 in the deciding set.

The Bulldogs are back in action tomorrow, taking on Indiana Wesleyan. The match is set for 10 a.m. at the Butler Tennis Bubble.
