The Bulldogs posted a commanding 7-0 win over Indiana Wesleyan Saturday afternoon. This marks the Bulldog's first shutout win of the season.

Butler swept the doubles point with Sarah Monesmith and Lauryn Padgett starting off with a win in the No. 2 spot, 6-1. Caroline McAuley and Kendal Wilby followed, defeating Marissa Klein and Laura Moore, 6-4. In the No. 1 spot, Emily Neal and Sara Linn topped Lizzie Bauss and Alex Mella, 7-6.

Neal started singles off with a win in the No. 1 position, beating Lizzie Bauss 6-3, 6-2. Nina Bertino tallied the next victory for the Bulldogs in the No. 4 spot with a win over Thewuni Devaraja 6-2, 2-6, 6-1. Monesmith secured the victory in the No. 3 spot, taking a three set victory over Lena Golz 6-2, 4-6, 6-3.

Padgett posted a victory in the No. 2 spot to give the Bulldogs a 5-0 lead. Lauren Marx took a straight set victory in the No. 6 spot, defeating Lauren Moore 6-3, 6-1. Linn closed out the match in the No. 5 spot, topping Marissa Klein 7-5, 6-3.

The Bulldogs finish up the weekend tomorrow, hosting Denison at the Butler Tennis Bubble. The match is set to begin at 10 a.m.
